Former Spurs midfielder Jermaine Jenas had singled out two of our players for praise after our 5-1 hammering of Stoke.
Harry Kane of course scored twice while Son Heung-min, Christian Eriksen and an own-goal ensured a Wembley rout.
However it was the performances of Kane and Son in particular that stood out for Match of the Day pundit Jenas.
Speaking on last nights edition of the show Jenas said: “I thought Stoke were really poor, they were passengers a lot of the time.
“In the first half it took Spurs a while to get going but it was Kane and Son at the forefront at that.
“They were the catalysts today for Spurs. They seemed to have the bit between their teeth. Jenas added: “Son down the left-hand side constantly wanted the ball, drove at his defenders and made things happen.Harry Kane was more energetic and mobile since his injury that I’d seen for a while.
He added: “The confidence was oozing through the team in the second half and it was Son and Kane at the forefront of that. Between the both of them I thought they were sensational.”
