Ange Postecoglou has provided a team news update ahead of tomorrow’s match against Liverpool during this afternoon’s press conference at Hotspur Way.
Tottenham put their unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign on the line last weekend in the North London derby against Arsenal and secured a point from a hard-fought 2-2 draw at the Emirates.
Many Spurs fans feared the worst when they saw James Maddison come off in the 78th minute of the match at Arsenal after hyperextending his knee which saw him undergo treatment on the pitch and then continued playing, only to be substituted nine minutes later.
Postecoglou delivers Spurs injury update for Liverpool match
Tomorrow, Spurs will once again come up against an unbeaten side with Liverpool heading into the fixture two points better off than their opponents having won five and drawn one of their first six matches.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of the clash against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Postecoglou told Tottenham’s X/Twitter account that Brennan Johnson will miss out this weekend, although it is nothing too serious, while Maddison and Son both trained today and he will assess how they are ahead of the Liverpool game.
