Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has named his second starting line up for the north Londoners ahead of today’s pre-season friendly against Leicester City.
Postecoglou‘s first match in charge of Tottenham ended in defeat on his home soil when West Ham United secured a 3-2 win in Perth, however, it would certainly be fair to say that the Australian’s side played the better football and showed glimpses of an exciting, attacking style which will be implemented over the coming weeks and months with an impressive 30 shots on goal.
Tottenham arrived in Thailand on Friday to begin their preparations against the Foxes with the match being held at the 51,552-capacity Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok.
Spurs team to face Leicester in Bangkok
Leicester were unable to hold onto their Premier League status after they were relegated to the Championship on the final day of the season with James Maddison, who moved to N17 earlier in the transfer window set to square off against his former team-mates.
Today’s opponents now have Harry Winks within their ranks after the former Spurs academy graduate sealed his permanent exit earlier this month to move to the King Power Stadium.
There are starts for Son and Destiny Udogie, with the latter having impressed as a second half sub against the Hammers.
This is who takes to the field today:
Leicester: Hermansen, Ricardo, Faes, Doyle, Castagne, Winks, Dewsbury-Hall, McAteer, Praet, Marcal-Madivadua, Iheanacho.
Tottenham: Vicario, Porro, Romero, Davies, Udogie, Hojbjerg, Bissouma, Maddison, Kulusevski, Son, Kane.
Your team in Thailand 👊
