After the disappointment of the Leicester City game being cancelled, Tottenham Hotspur will resume their pre-season tour with a fixture against Singapore outfit, Lion City Sailors, on Wednesday afternoon.
Tottenham began their preparation for the new season with a 3-2 defeat to London rivals West Ham a week ago. That game showed many of the defensive frailties that plagued the Lilywhites last term, but the second half also offered some hope may get to see entertaining football from their side this year.
Unfortunately, the second match of the pre-season schedule, a fixture against recently relegated Leicester City, had to be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions in Bangkok.
Next up for Ange Postecoglou‘s men is Lion City Sailors, a side who were drafted in for the friendly after AS Roma pulled out of the originally scheduled match. The Singapore-based team go into the game as the underdogs, and it is largely expected Spurs will seal a strong win.

Team news for Tottenham vs Lion City Sailors
There is every chance that Ange Postecoglou will use the same starting XI he had planned for the Leicester game for this fixture.
If so, we would see Destiny Udogie starting the game after his impressive debut against West Ham.
Ben Davies and Cristian Romero could partner each other at the heart of defence, while Yves Bissouma and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg would pair up in midfield.
Spurs are likely to start with an attacking front four of James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Heung-min Son, and Harry Kane.
The only players who might not be available are Dane Scarlett, who is currently injured, and Tanguy Ndombele who is still recovering from a knock he picked up last week.
The Spurs Web prediction
We could and should be running riot against a side like Lion City Sailors, especially if we field a team as strong as the one Postecoglou was going to use against Leicester.
Regardless of the line-up, we have more than enough quality to put this kind of opposition to the sword and bag plenty of goals. We expect a 4-0 win for Spurs.
