Tottenham Hotspur wing-back Ivan Perisic has been spotted back at the San Siro this evening to watch the Champions League semi-final clash between Inter Milan and AC Milan.
The Croatian international moved to north London from Inter last summer on a free transfer after his contract at the Serie A giants had come to an end.
Perisic’s switch saw him link up once again with Antonio Conte, with the pair having won the Scudetto together in the 2020/2021 season with Conte having left the Nerazzurri just a matter of weeks later.
Perisic has experienced an indifferent first campaign in England with some mixed performances, however, he tops Tottenham’s assist charts with twelve in all competitions (transfermarkt).
Gazzetta dello Sport claimed in March that the 34-year-old could be set to head back to Inter this summer with the left-sided player under contract at Tottenham until the summer of 2024.

With the impending arrival of Destiny Udogie this summer and Conte having headed back to Italy, Perisic could be tempted to do the same if he is not a first-team regular under whoever Tottenham’s next manager may be.
Ryan Sessegnon‘s injury problems and lack of confidence at key times also continues to be a recurring problem for Tottenham, who will certainly be hoping that Fabio Paratici‘s capture of Udogie proves to be one of his parting gifts.
