French journalist Nabil Djellit has claimed that Tottenham remain interested in a late move for Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma.
Tottenham have allowed Tanguy Ndombele to return to Lyon on loan while Giovani Lo Celso is now expected to complete a temporary move to Villareal (Cesar Luis Merlo).
In addition, Fabrizio Romano has revealed the North London club have also agreed to sell Dele Alli to Everton in a permanent deal.
If Djellit’s latest update is to be believed, Spurs are now looking to strengthen their midfield department with the addition of Bissouma.
The Daily Mirror reported on Sunday that Antonio Conte’s men could make a deadline day move for the Brighton man and suggested the Seagulls would be open to cashing in on the midfielder.
Djellit has now taken to social media to suggest that Spurs remain interested in the Mali international. He added that the Lilywhites face competition from Aston Villa for Bissouma’s signature.
Aston Villa fait le forcing pour Yves Bissouma. Steven Gerard adore l'international malien. Tottenham aussi intéressé… Il reste un an et demi de contrat avec Brighton pour l'ancien Lillois. A suivre… #Mercato pic.twitter.com/UqQ9zK0oFC

Spurs Web Opinion
I do not think there is enough time left in the window for Spurs to push through a deal for Bissouma. I expect Kulusevski and Bentancour to be our only two signings of the transfer window. That would still represent a decent window for us, especially given that we have been able to offload the likes of Dele and Tanguy.
