According to 90 min, rumoured Tottenham target Yves Bissouma has informed Brighton of his desire to leave the club this summer.

Bissouma was reportedly on Tottenham’s radar in January, with Spurs alleged to be battling the likes of Man Utd and Aston Villa for the midfielder’s signature during the final few days of the window (The Daily Mail).

The midfielder ended up staying put at the Amex Stadium but his future is still up in the air, with his current contract only running until the summer of 2023.

90 min claim that while the Seagulls would like to extend Bissouma’s contract, the player has informed the club that he would like to leave this summer, with a host of clubs interested in his signature.

Meanwhile, The Daily Express claim that Brighton have slapped a £50m asking price on the 25-year-old’s head despite the fact that he will only have 12 months left to run on his deal in the summer.

The report adds that Tottenham and Arsenal are battling it out for Bissouma’s signature.

Spurs Web Opinion

I do not think there is any chance of Brighton getting £50m for Bissouma this summer if the midfielder does not sign a contract extension.

The Seagulls would be hoping to get a bidding war going and get as big a fee for him as possible but one would expect him to be available around the £30m range.

The 25-year-old would be a steal at that price and one would expect Spurs to be in for him.
