Fabrizio Romano has given his second ‘here we go’ of the day involving transfer dealings with Tottenham Hotspur.

The Italian journalist has just taken to Twitter to claim that Tottenham have reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Rodrigo Bentancur for an initial €19m (£15.8m) fee together with a potential further €6m (£4.9m) in add ons.

Juventus signed Bentancur from Boca Juniors for £8m in July 2017 with his current contract expiring in the summer of 2024, and the Italian outfit are said to have to pay Boca 30 per cent of the transfer fee as part of a clause within his current agreement (Sky Sports).

Bentancur reportedly turned down a move to Aston Villa in favour of joining Tottenham (Sport Witness).

The Uruguay international has made 26 appearances for Juve in all competitions this season, but has started 13 of their 23 Serie A matches (transfermarkt).

Juventus are set to replace Bentancur with Borussia Monchengladbach’s Dennis Zakaria.

Romano had earlier used his famous catchphrase in relation to Tottenham when he confirmed that Dejan Kulusevski is on his way to London.
