According to Sky Sports (5:20pm), Dejan Kulusevski is travelling to London to undergo his Tottenham medical this evening, while Rodrigo Bentancur will take his tests remotely from Uruguay (relayed by Lyall Thomas).

Tottenham have reportedly agreed €10 million (£8.3m) deal with Juventus to sign Sweden international Kulusevski on an initial 18-month loan (Evening Standard).

The deal could become permanent for a further £25 million if the 21-year-old plays in 50 per cent of matches and/or Spurs make a return to the Champions League.

Meanwhile, Spurs are also set to part ways with around £19 million to secure the services of Bentancur, to bolster Antonio Conte’s options in midfield.

Sky Sports claims Kulusevski is due to fly to London this evening to finalise his move and complete his medical at Hotspur Way.

However, the report states that Bentancur will undertake his examinations remotely while on international duty with Uruguay. The 24-year-old is currently gearing up to face Venezuela in a World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.

Spurs Web Opinion

These are two good moves for Spurs as they add some more strength in depth which the squad has desperately needed. There are some unknowns about both players, but they have a ceiling that they haven’t reached and under Conte’s guidance, these could be shrewd transfers.
