Telegraaf journalist, Mike Verweij, has reported that Tottenham have now agreed personal terms with Wolfsburg centre-back, Micky Van de Ven.
Ahead of a potential summer transfer, the Dutch defender has agreed to a five-year contract in North London that would run until 2028, if Spurs can secure a deal with the German club.
Tottenham are making moves for Micky Van de Ven
This comes after Fabrizio Romano was the first to report on Tottenham’s interest in the lightning-quick central defender, stating that Spurs had opened talks with Wolfsburg because Van de Ven represented a cheaper option than Edmond Tapsoba.
Ben Jacobs also stated on Chris Cowlin’s YouTube channel that Spurs were more likely to move for Van de Ven as there was less competition for the Dutchman.
Romano told AMP this week that Spurs would likely only move for one of Van de Ven and Tapsoba, and it appears the Lilywhites may have made their choice.

Spurs Web Opinion:
As long as Tottenham are moving for the people Postecoglou wants and they are getting the deals done quickly, I’m very happy. Honestly, I would love for us to get Tapsoba and Van de Ven, because the latter can also cover at left-back when needed.
