Jude Bellingham has praised James Maddison for the way the Tottenham midfielder glides across the pitch.
While Maddison was already widely seen as one of the best playmakers in the Premier League thanks to his exploits at Leicester City, his stock has now understandably gone up following his move to Spurs.

People are starting to stand up and take notice of the 26-year-old now that he is doing it on a bigger stage, with the midfielder having quickly become an indispensable part of Ange Postecoglou’s side.
Maddison started for England ahead of the likes of Phil Foden in the recent Euro qualifiers against Ukraine, which is a demonstration of his increasing importance for the Three Lions set-up.
Jude Bellingham is a big James Maddison fan
The Tottenham man was voted the Premier League Player of the Month for August and Bellingham responded to his Instagram post about receiving the award with a comment that read: “Love it Sheriff”.
The Real Madrid man has now lavished more praise on Maddison while discussing his attributes in the new EA FC video game.
Bellingham told England’s YouTube channel: “It’s a great card. You’re not a sprinter though, you’re a glider, you’re a floater. You never think oh what a run, you just think that Madders is there.”

While I always knew Maddison’s passing and shooting were up there with the best, I did not quite realise just how quick his feet were. His excellent feet combined with his ability to drop his shoulder makes him quite press-resistant as he demonstrates every single time he picks up the ball from deep.
