Contrary to what has previously been reported, the print edition of Corriere dello Sport (28/6 as relayed by Sport Witness) has claimed that an offer of €50m (£43.1m) would be enough for Spurs to bring Juventus to the table for a Gleison Bremer deal.
Over the last few weeks, multiple Italian outlets have claimed that Juve are open to cashing on Bremer to offset their losses and that Tottenham had expressed an interest in the centre-back (CalcioMercato).
However, Tuttosport (via Sport Witness) suggested a few days ago that it would take an offer of €80m (£69m) to prise the Brazilian away from the Allianz Stadium.
Juventus want £43m to even think about Bremer sale
Corriere have now put forward a much more realistic price of €50m (£43.1m), claiming that any offer around that figure will cause Juve to ‘reflect’.
The publication adds that apart from Tottenham, Newcastle United and Aston Villa also have their eyes on the 26-year-old centre-back.
However, it is claimed that none of the three Premier League sides would be prepared to meet the £43m asking price for Bremer.
Spurs Web Opinion
£43m is a reasonable price for a player of Bremer’s quality.
I would be surprised if Premier League clubs do not show interest in the Brazilian at that price range.
However, it appears as if Tottenham are looking at a younger profile of centre-backs for Postecoglou this summer.
