Football Insider have claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are now growing in confidence that they can lure Gleison Bremer away from Juventus.
It is explained that Financial Fair Play concerns are now mounting at Juventus, which could open the door for some first-team regulars, including Bremer, to depart.
Spurs are growing in confidence over Bremer
The report states that while Juventus do not wish to lose the Brazilian, they could be forced to listen to offers for him in order to balance their books.
It is alleged that the Old Lady could be tempted to recoup the £43m they paid to sign the centre-back from Torino last summer.
Football Insider claim that Bremer ranks high on Ange Postecoglou’s wishlist, with the Juve star seen as someone who ticks ‘a lot of boxes’ for the Australian.
The outlet adds that the Brazil international has been a long-term target for Spurs, with the club allegedly trying to sign from Torino last summer prior to his switch to the Allianz Stadium.
Spurs Web Opinion
Juventus have many sellable assets in their squad apart from Bremer, which is why I would be surprised if the Serie A giants consider any offer below the £55m-£60m mark for Bremer. Tottenham could arguably find better options for that price range such as Marc Guehi.
