Italian journalist Rudy Galetti has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are now ready to step up their pursuit of Juventus centre-forward Dusan Vlahovic.
Last week, we covered an update from SportMediaSet which claimed that Tottenham could turn their attention to Vlahovic this summer if they lose Harry Kane.
A couple of days ago, Foot Mercato even went a step further and asserted that Spurs had identified the Serbian as their number-one choice to replace Kane if the England captain departs this summer.
The report added that Juve have decided to cash in on the 23-year-old, with the Old Lady alleged to be demanding €70m (£60m) for the former Fiorentina man.
Spurs now ready to speed things up for Vlahovic
Galetti has taken to social media to state that Tottenham are now prepared to speed up their operation to sign Vlahovic as the North London club anticipate competition from Chelsea for the striker.
The journalist puts Juventus’ asking price for the centre-forward at €80m (£68.6m), which is the same fee that the Old Lady paid to sign the player from the Viola 18 months ago.
🚨🔥 #Tottenham are ready to speed things up for #Vlahovic to anticipate the competition, especially of #Chelsea.
📌 As told, #THFC targeted the 🇷🇸 ST as a possible replacement of #Kane, who pushes for the move to #Bayern.

Juventus will know that they cannot hope to raise the full amount they spent on Vlahovic 18 months ago, given the striker’s struggles at the Allianz Stadium since his move.
An offer of around £55m-£60m would likely be enough to convince the Old Lady to cash in on the centre-forward.
