Darren Bent and Andy Goldstein disagree with each other on their predictions for who will finish in the top four but they both placed Tottenham among the Champions League qualifiers.
It was suggested by many that the North London Derby at the Emirates on Sunday would be Tottenham’s first big test of the season, and Ange Postecoglou’s men certainly passed the test with flying colours.
The Lilywhites had more possession than the home side and controlled large parts of the game, fighting back to draw level twice.
On the back of that performance, it seems like pundits are coming around to the idea that Spurs might indeed be the real deal this season.
Pundits are starting to back Tottenham for top four
Bent and Goldstein disagreed on who among Arsenal and Manchester United would make the top four, but interestingly, both of them backed Tottenham to do so.
Watch what they said on talkSPORT below:
🔥 Darren: “City will win the title, the top four will be Liverpool, Arsenal & Spurs.”
😏 Andy: “I can’t leave my side out! We’re on a roll, unbeaten in one!”
Darren Bent wasn’t happy when Andy Goldstein made his new top four prediction 🤣 pic.twitter.com/WMXjEWQmGH

Spurs Web Opinion
We have certainly shown so far this season that we are good enough to challenge for a top-four finish. However, it is still quite early in the season and I worry that we will struggle if we lose one or two key players to injuries, which is bound to happen eventually.
