Tottenham Hotspur’s Troy Parrott netted a late derby-winning goal out on loan with Excelsior in the Netherlands at the weekend.
Parrott is enjoying his fifth loan spell away from Tottenham, having struggled to show his best for Millwall, Preston North End, and Ipswich Town.
His best loan was undoubtedly the full season with MK Dons, in which he played an impressive 47 games and scored ten goals from more of a number-ten role (TransferMarkt).
Troy Parrott scores a great goal for Excelsior
So far with Excelsior, Parrott has netted twice in just four games, with the latest coming in a 2-1 home win over Sparta Rotterdam. The Spurs striker was sent clear and smashed a volley past the keeper in the 94th minute to earn his side an important win.

Spurs Web Opinion:
This feels like an all-or-nothing season for Troy Parrott. Ange Postecoglou is definitely open to being impressed by young academy players, so if he has a great season out on loan he could find himself with a place in the squad next season.
