Dean Jones has written in his column for GiveMeSport that Wolves’ Pedro Neto is one of the attackers that Tottenham are watching ahead of the January transfer window.
Jones claims that Ange Postecoglou would prefer to bring in ‘someone to support rather than lead the attack’, explaining that the Lilywhites are not after a number nine.
This is because Son Heung-min is expected to continue leading the line while Tottenham also want to give Richarlison opportunities to come good.
It is alleged that Spurs are not prepared to give up on the Brazilian, who is not going to be sold by the club in January.
Tottenham have their eye on Pedro Neto at Wolves
The North London club are said to be watching several wide-attackers, with Al-Ittihad’s Jota, Galatasaray’s Kerem Akturkoglu and Juventus’ Federico Chiesa said to be among the players on the club’s radar.
In addition, Jones also adds that Spurs are keeping a close eye on Neto, with his style of play said to be ‘of real interest’ to the club.
However, the journalist adds that the Portugal international’s valuation would be quite high and that Tottenham could face competition from Liverpool and Arsenal for the Wolves star’s signature.

Neto would be the dream signing out of these four and will add a different dimension to our attack. Tottenham’s decision on who to pursue might depend on several factors, including whether Bryan Gil impresses over the coming weeks or how quickly Solomon recovers.
