Multiple media outlets were blown away by the performance of Dejan Kulusevski in Sweden’s 5-0 win over Estonia this weekend.
The right-winger has been a regular for Ange Postecoglou in the opening four Premier League games of the season, recently picking up his first goal of the campaign against Bournemouth.
Kulusevski has seemingly taken that form into the international break as he recorded a goal and an assist for Sweden as they ran away with a comfortable win against Estonia.
The Swedish media are blown away by Kulusevski
Spurs fans will remember when the Swede racked up five goals and eight assists to help Spurs burst into the top four when he first arrived at the club in January 2022 (Transfermarkt).
Swedish outlet, Fotboll Skanalen gave Kulusevski a four out of five rating, which was only achieved by two players on the pitch, stating that the Spurs man ‘threatened almost constantly’ and could have scored more.
Svenska Fans went as far as to say that Kulusevski put in ‘one of his best’ international performances ever, while Aftonbladet called the Spurs man ‘phenomenal’.
Spurs Web Opinion:
We all want to see Kulusevski get back to his best in a Spurs shirt. Those first six months weren’t just about his goals and assists, but the sheer consistency with which he went about his work. He never wasted a single touch, pass, or cross and everything was done with so much danger and purpose.
