Joe Rodon has received rave reviews in the Welsh press after delivering an impressive display in their big win over Croatia on Sunday.
Rodon will be hoping to get his career back on track on loan at Leeds this season after struggling to get much of a look-in at Tottenham since joining the club three years ago.
The centre-back’s loan spell at Rennes last season did not go according to plan but he has seemingly made a promising start to his time at Elland Road.
The 25-year-old has quickly established himself as a mainstay in Daniel Farke’s backline and has received plenty of praise for some of his displays for the Whites (LeedsLive).
Joe Rodon continues to impress for Leeds and Wales
Rodon took his club form to the international scene, delivering a mature display at the back for Wales, who overcame Croatia 2-1 at the Cardiff City Stadium to pick up three crucial points in their Euro qualifier.
The on-loan Spurs man, who started in the middle of a back three that also consisted of Ben Davies, has been getting some positive press on the back of the performance.
Wales Online gave Rodon a rating of eight out of 10 and wrote about the centre-back: “Made a couple of really good defensive interventions. Dug in to help his side get the job done. Solid at the back all night.”
Spurs Web Opinion
Rodon’s decision to drop back down to the Championship in the summer was absolutely the right one as he needed regular game time under his belt to get his career back on track. Unsurprisingly, the 25-year-old appears to be getting better with each game that he plays.
