Tottenham Hotspur need to strengthen their squad in the summer, that is no secret, but who should they look to invest in under Mourinho?

Let’s take a look at our top five signings Spurs should go for this summer:

Youcef Atal –

Narrowly beating out Max Aarons, although I would be happier with either. This young right-back is full of pace and power down the flanks, but also has an eye for a tackle too. It is about time that Spurs replaced Kyle Walker and this could be the man.

Dayot Upamecano –

With Vertonghen on the way out and Alderweireld half a yard slower than he once was, Spurs need a new dominant force at the back. Upamecano has proved to be such a figure for RB Leipzig this season, capable of marshalling the back four while also having the power to come out and drive with the ball.

Vedat Muriqi –

If we are looking for a striker in the mould of Harry Kane, then this man is the answer. He has been raining goals in Turkey this season, has plenty of height, and loves to throw his weight around. He could be the perfect plan B option, while also providing the room for Parrott to develop as a very different kind of striker.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg –

Spurs invested heavily in Ndombele and the Frenchman hasn’t looked fit all season. It is about time they bring someone in who can instantly slot into that defensive midfield position with no problems. Southampton’s Hojbjerg has been doing a fine job of that this season and has the necessary Premier League experience.

Paulo Dybala –

An unlikely signing, but worth going back in for him just in case Juventus still need to raise funds. It is about time that Spurs invested big in an established name that could take them to the next level. A front six of Harry Kane, Heung-min Son, Dele Alli, Steven Bergwijn, Giovani Lo Celso, and Paulo Dybala would be incredible.
