Sky Sports’ Football Daily have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are intent on signing Conor Gallagher before tonight’s 11 pm transfer deadline.
The deadline day is certainly shaping up to be a busy one for Tottenham, with multiple outlets now reporting that Brennan Johnson is now edging close to a move to N17 (Fabrizio Romano).
It has also emerged over the last few hours that Spurs are expected to make an improved offer for centre-back Lloyd Kelly after Bournemouth turned down the Lilywhites’ opening bid for the player (The Times).
Conor Gallagher is also in Tottenham’s sights
According to Sky Sports’ latest update, Spurs are also trying to bolster their central midfield department by getting a deal for Gallagher across the line.
The report claims that Tottenham have been in contact with Chelsea over a late deal for the England international.
The North London club have allegedly communicated their intention to make an offer for the 23-year-old once they offload a couple of their players.

Spurs Web Opinion
If we manage to get deals for Johnson, Gallagher and Kelly over the line, that would not only represent an excellent deadline day but also an impressive transfer window as a whole. However, we should not be counting the chickens before they hatch as there is still a lot of work to be done.
