Graham Roberts has insisted that Destiny Udogie is now worth around £100m on the back of the impressive start he has made to his Tottenham career.

Udogie has hit the ground running in the Premier League, having adapted seamlessly to the intensity and the physicality of the competition, and to the tactical demands of the inverted full-back role in Ange Postecoglou’s system.

The 20-year-old had his biggest test yet against Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday as he was playing in what was arguably the biggest game of his career so far and was up against one of the best attackers in the Premier League in Bukayo Saka.

Is Destiny Udogie now worth £100m?

Udogie looked a little nervous at the start and when he picked up a booking early in the game, some might have feared the worst.

However, the Italian showed maturity beyond his years and delivered an exemplary display, managing to keep Saka quiet for the majority of the encounter.

Roberts believes that the former Udinese man is worth an eye-watering £100m.

Out of all the impressive signings that Paratici oversaw during his time at Spurs, Udogie is arguably the most impressive as the youngster looks quite capable of evolving into the best left-back in world football.

While his quality and athleticism are there for all to see, he also seems to have quite a calm head on his shoulders, which is rare for someone his age.
