Football Insider have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are now in advanced talks to sign defenders Cristian Romero and Takehiro Tomiyasu, goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini and winger Bryan Gil.
Reports first emerged on Monday that Tottenham were in advanced talks with Atalanta over the possible signings of Cristian Romero and Pierluigi Gollini.
One of those deals is seemingly progressing well, with souces from Italy indicating that Gollini goalkeeper is expected to fly to London to complete his move to Spurs.
Tottenham have also alleged agreed to pay €25m (£21.6m) plus Erik Lamela for Gil, with the Spanish media suggesting that the deal will be officially announced this week.
However, Spurs do seem to be having trouble in their attempts to get deals for Tomiyasu and Romero over the line.
It has been alleged recently Romero is not interested in making a move to Spurs this summer and would prefer to stay at Atalanta.
Meanwhile, it was also reported on Wednesday that Tottenham were not willing to meet the €25m (£21.6m) including add-ons that Bologna are demanding for Tomiyasu.
However, Football Insider now suggest that Tottenham’s negotiations for both the Argentine and the Japanese internationals are also at an advanced stage, just like their talks regarding Gil and Gollini.
The report asserts that Fabio Paratici is having ‘final talks’ over all four deals simultaneously.

The Gollini and Gil deals seem to be a done deal at this point but there appears to be some way to go with respect to Tottenham’s pursuit of Romero and Tomiyasu.
Out of these four, Romero would arguably be the most valuable addition but it does seem like a deal for the Argentine might be the most difficult to get over the line.
