Football Insider have revealed that Luis Enrique, Ruben Amorim and Ange Postecoglou are now heading Tottenham’s shortlist to replace Antonio Conte.
It has now been over two months since Antonio Conte departed Spurs but the club appear to have made very little progress in their quest to make a new appointment, with Arne Slot, who was previously their top target (Daily Mail), deciding to stay put at Feyenoord.
According to Football Insider’s latest update, Enrique, Amorim and Postecoglou are the names which are currently at the top of the North London club’s shortlist.
The report reveals that on the back of Tottenham’s disastrous season, Daniel Levy is keen on appointing the right candidate who can get the club nearer to the Premier League’s summit.
It is explained that the Spurs chairman is keen to take his time to ensure that he installs the right man in the hot seat.
This report comes on the back of The Evening Standard‘s assertion on Wednesday that Tottenham are expected to step up their pursuit of Postecoglou following Celtic’s Scottish Cup final on Saturday.

Among these three candidates, I actually think Enrique would be the safest bet but all of them are quite underwhelming, particularly after we seemingly passed up on Pochettino, Nagelsmann and Slot.
It does seem like Enrique is waiting for the Tottenham job but based on reports over recent days, it appears as if Postecoglou is the candidate that appeals the most to the Spurs hierarchy.
