Tottenham Hotspur may have a new player to add to the injury list this week, as journalist Raz Amir has reported that Manor Solomon picked up a knock in training.

Spurs signed Solomon on a free transfer this summer, and he has been a regular at left-wing for Ange Postecoglou, both from the start of games and as an impact sub off the bench.

However, the Israeli international could be set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up an injury during training this week, just days before Spurs take on Luton Town in the Premier League.

Tottenham are already without Ivan Perisic and Brennan Johnson, leaving the wide areas a little stretched for depth at the moment.

Even Heung-min Son has been dealing with knocks in the opening weeks of the season and playing through the pain to make the Spurs starting XI (SportSeoul via Spurs Web).

Losing another winger so early in the season will be a big blow to Postecoglou, leaving him with little option but to start Son, Richarlison, and Kulusevski in most games until Johnson returns. Bryan Gil will likely be determined to get back to full fitness to add his name to that list too.

Spurs Web Opinion:

We have to remember that Spurs and Postecoglou are right at the beginning of their new era. The squad does not have the kind of depth required yet, at least not in Ange’s image. This could be a great chance for Gil and some of the academy youngsters like Jamie Donley to step up.
