Fichajes.net have claimed that Real Sociedad and Valencia are both considering a move for Tottenham winger Bryan Gil in January.

Gil is yet to feature for Spurs under Ange Postecoglou, having been out with a groin injury since the start of pre-season but the winger took to social media a couple of days ago to confirm that he is close to full fitness.

It remains to be seen whether the 22-year-old will force himself into Postecoglou’s plans but it has now been reported in Spain that he is likely to be on his way out of the club when the transfer window reopens.

Two La Liga clubs eyeing moves for Spurs’ Bryan Gil

Fichajes.net claim that the Australian coach ‘does not count’ on Gil and Spurs have decided to offload the winger in January. The player is said to be on the radars of Sociedad and Valencia, who are both in need of reinforcements in the wide areas.

It is explained that Sociedad are plotting a move for the Tottenham man if Real Madrid exercise their option to buy back Take Kubo while Valencia want the Spain international to fill the void left by Samu Lino’s departure to Atletico Madrid in the summer.

The publication adds that both clubs will explore an initial loan deal for Gil with an option to make it permanent next summer.

Spurs Web Opinion

I initially did not expect Gil to get any game time at Spurs until January but Ivan Perisic’s ACL injury might offer the Spaniard a lifeline. I can now see the 22-year-old getting some minutes as an impact sub and if he does, it would be up to him to impress Postecoglou.
