Swansea midfielder Sung-yeung Ki says his South Korea team-mate Heung-min Son is underappreciated in the Premier League.
He is on course to beat the 20-goal mark for the second successive season having scored 18 goals in 43 appearances for the club so far this season, including seven in his last four appearances.
The club are set for talks with the 25-year-old over a new contract and according to Sky Sports News discussions are pencilled in for the coming weeks.
Ki believes he is still to receive the credit he deserves for his performances compared to some of his other Spurs team-mates.
Speaking ahead of his country’s Saturday’s friendly against Northern Ireland: “In my opinion he of course has to get more credit. I don’t say that Harry Kane and Dele Alli are worse than Son.
He added: “They are all top players but I think Son has to get more credit in my opinion. His performance this season has been amazing. Everyone knows he plays one of the best games and is very consistent in every game and he scores many goals for Spurs which is not easy.
