Reports suggest that Bayern Munich are now looking at signing Tottenham Hotspur forwards Heung-Min Son, after an impressive few seasons in North London.
Son has averaged around 20 goals a season for the last two campaigns, which has caught the eye of some of Europe’s top clubs.
It is thought that the likes of Bayern were waiting to see whether South Korea would win gold at the Asian Games before sparking up any conversation with Tottenham and Son.
After Son captained his country to a gold medal, he and his team mates were rewarded with military service exemption, a service that would usually last two years.
Son would have been forced to serve before his 28th birthday.
The now 26-year-old signed a new five year deal with Spurs this summer, so it is extremely unlikely that the Korean forward will be going anywhere any time soon.
However, Spurs may see a bid or two come in for Sonny next summer, a reflection on the impact he has made in the Prem.
