Kevin De Bruyne has described Son Heung-min as ‘perfect’ when asked to pick out the player with the best feet in the Premier League.

Until the start of last season, Son was widely considered one of the best in the world, particularly since he was coming off winning the Golden Boot in the 2021-22 season.

However, the South Korean arguably had his worst season in a Spurs shirt last term as the team struggled to create too many chances under Antonio Conte, with the 31-year-old having to do a lot of defensive work.

Son has shown more glimpses of his old self at the start of the new season, netting an impressive hat-trick in the win over Burnley two weeks ago.

Following Harry Kane’s departure and Hugo Lloris falling out of favour, the forward is also the biggest voice in the Tottenham dressing room, having been handed the captain’s armband by Postecoglou.

Kevin De Bruyne is jealous of Son Heung-min’s feet

De Bruyne is certainly a fan of the Tottenham man, picking Son’s feet in a special Sky Sports segment where he was asked to create the perfect Premier League player by picking the feet, body and head of three different players.

The Belgian said: “Heung-min Son. Perfect, two-footed, quick!”.

In the same segment, James Maddison picked Jack Grealish’s legs, his own body and Rodrigo Bentancur’s head. Richarlison jokingly picked his own legs, body and head.

Spurs Web Opinion

One can make the argument that Son is the most two-footed player in Premier League history. In fact, the South Korean appears to be even better at striking the ball on his left foot than his natural right foot.
