Son Heung-min has said that Arsenal will not be looking forward to facing Tottenham Hotspur this time around, given the momentum that the Lilywhites have.

Tottenham have a poor record at the Emirates and they have struggled to give a decent account of themselves at the venue over the last few years.

However, unlike the last few seasons when Spurs went there trying to defend with men behind the ball and hit the home side on the break, Ange Postecoglou’s new-look Tottenham side will look to dominate proceedings and take their game to the Gunners.

Both teams come into the game unbeaten in the Premier League this season and tied on 12 points, with Mikel Arteta’s men continuing to pick up wins even though they have not always been at their best.

Tottenham head into the clash on the back of a morale-boosting late comeback against Sheffield United, and Son believes that Arsenal will not want to face Spurs right now.

The South Korean told The Times: “[Arsenal] won’t want to face us at this time. Everyone is running for each other, everyone is fighting for each other.

“If someone comes off you give a hand off and everyone is happy to do that. That makes us really strong as a team.”

While this statement reflects Son’s confidence, I would prefer our players to keep their mouths shut and do the talking on the pitch.

While we have looked excellent so far this season, there is no doubt that the test on Sunday will be the sternest we have so far this season.

I fear that Arsenal will punish us, given how we press and how high a line we play but I have no doubt that we will also create plenty of chances.
