According to talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook, Brighton are eyeing a summer move for Bristol City starlet, Alex Scott, who has been linked with a move to Tottenham over recent months.
Scott is seen by many as one of the best emerging talents in the EFL, with the 19-year-old going from strength to strength since he established himself as a regular starter in Bristol’s starting eleven last season.
The teenager has even been likened to Jack Grealish, thanks to his ability to carry the ball, and his performances have reportedly caught the attention of several top-flight clubs.
GiveMeSport revealed back in March that Tottenham are one of the clubs to have enquired about Scott’s availability ahead of the summer transfer window while The Daily Mail revealed recently that Man United could enter the race for the midfielder’s signature.
Bristol City boss Nigel Pearson has warned clubs that it would take a sizeable fee to prise the England Under-20 international away from Ashton Gate Stadium (Bristol Live).
Crook has now taken to social media to reveal that Brighton could also make a move for Scott this summer.
#BHAFC also one of many clus who are admirers of #BristolCity midfielder Alex Scott but nothing advanced yet I don't believe. https://t.co/5NFGiU2JXd

I am not sure that Scott would want to make a move to a club like Spurs or Liverpool and risk being stuck on the bench for a year or two.
The youngster might prefer to move to a club like Brighton where he is a lot likelier to get regular game time.
