Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has confirmed to supporters that the club inserted a buy-back clause into the deal which saw Bayern Munich sign Harry Kane earlier this summer.
The England captain completed his £100m transfer to the Bundesliga giants on the cusp of the new Premier League season which left new Spurs head coach Ange Postecoglou without his star player days before taking his side to Brentford.
Kane signed a deal lasting until June 2027 and took over the No 9 shirt, which had previously been worn by the prolific Robert Lewandowski prior to his move to Barcelona.
