Tottenham Hotspur could be set to revisit their interest in Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma if they fail to entice Christian Eriksen back to the club this summer, according to London World.
Eriksen’s contract at the Brentford Community Stadium expires at the end of June and is likely to be a man in demand having impressed during his second half of the season cameo where he played a key role in helping the Bees avoid relegation.
The report claims that Spurs have earmarked the 25-year-old as their back-up option as part of Antonio Conte’s plans to overhaul his squad this summer.
Spurs announced on Tuesday that the club’s majority shareholder, ENIC Sports, had invested £150 million into the club ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Athletic claimed that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has promised Conte a handful of new signings as he looks to turn the club into contenders for silverware.

Bissouma was impressive for the Seagulls in their late 1-0 win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last month, having played a key role in affording Harry Kane little time on the ball in his attempts to drop deep and orchestrate play.
Hopefully, Eriksen will find the lure of a return to the club and the prospect of playing Champions League football too hard to resist.
