Italian journalist Rudy Galetti has revealed that Chelsea look set to battle Tottenham Hotspur for the services of Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.
With speculation over Harry Kane’s future continuing to run rife, several outlets have reported over the past couple of weeks that Spurs could turn their attention to Vlahovic if they lose their star striker this summer (SportMediaSet).
Foot Mercato even asserted last week that the North London club had identified the Serbian as their number-one choice to replace Kane if the England captain departs this summer.
The report added that Juve have decided to cash in on the 23-year-old, with the Old Lady alleged to be demanding €70m (£60m) for the centre-forward
Competition from Chelsea for Dusan Vlahovic
Galetti has now taken to social media to explain that Spurs could battle their London rivals, Chelsea for the former Fiorentina man.
He explains that despite snapping up Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal, Mauricio Pochettino wants to add more firepower to his frontline, with the Juve star said to the names at the top of the Blues’ wishlist.
🚨📋 #Chelsea are still looking for a new stiker, despite the arrival of #Jackson.
‼️ #Vlahovic remains the main target, but now #CFC have to face the competition of #Totteham.
👀 The Blues also asked for info on Elye #Wahi: his contract with #Montpellier expires in 2025. 🐓⚽ pic.twitter.com/yeHvYmUjUF

Spurs Web Opinion
If Levy does plan on eventually accepting a bid for Kane, it is vital that he sets a clear deadline for the transfer, so that there is enough time to secure a suitable replacement.
It would not be ideal if the negotiations with Bayern (or PSG) drag on until the end of the transfer window, by which time the likes of Kolo Muani and Vlahovic will already have been snapped up by other clubs.
