The Tottenham players were back on the training pitch at Hotspur Way earlier today as part of their preparations for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Chelsea.
The derby is always a huge match for both sets of supporters, however, this fixture has added importance with Spurs looking to keep the pressure on Newcastle United in the race for a top four finish while Chelsea continue to struggle and currently find themselves down in tenth position, eleven points behind their opponents and have played a game less.
Antonio Conte remains in Italy as part of his recovery from his recent gallbladder removal surgery and is unlikely to be in the dugout this weekend to face his former employer (Mail).
Despite Chelsea’s poor form, they remain Tottenham’s bogey team and are unbeaten in eight Premier League meetings with the north Londoners.
Among the players spotted being put through their paces by Cristian Stellini and his backroom staff were:
Goalkeepers
Brandon Austin, Alfie Whiteman, Fraser Forster, Josh Keeley
Defenders
Davinson Sanchez, Cristian Romero, Emerson Royal, Clement Lenglet, Japhet Tanganga, Ben Davies, Ivan Perisic, Eric Dier, Pedro Porro
Midfielders
Dejan Kulusevski, Oliver Skipp, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Alfie Devine, Arnaut Danjuma, Pape Matar Sarr, Matthew Craig
