Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Everton striker Richarlison this summer, according to Brazilian news outlet UOL Esporte.

The report claims that Tottenham, along with Newcastle United have shown the most interest in the forward, while Manchester United have also previously made contact.

With Everton fighting for Premier League survival and are precariously positioned just one point above third-from-bottom Burnley, the 24-year-old has decided to take the next step in his career after four seasons at Goodison Park.

Richarlison is said to have been preparing behind the scenes for a transfer and wants to remain in the Premier League.

There was interest in the Brazilian international from abroad last season from Paris Saint-Germain while Juventus made an enquiry after Cristiano Ronaldo departed to complete a return to Old Trafford.

Richarlison would be a good back-up for Harry Kane and could be available at a reduced price if Everton are relegated from the top flight.   Thankfully, this season (touch wood), Kane has managed to avoid any ankle-related issues which have plagued him in recent seasons and have left fans searching to the sidelines for an out-and-out forward to come in and deputise.
