Fabrizio Romano has taken to Twitter to reveal that Tottenham Hotspur have agreed personal terms with Cristian Romero.
The journalist claimed that the central defender has agreed a contract until 2026 and also denied reports that the player had snubbed a move to North London.
It is said that Tottenham and Atalanta are now in discussions over the transfer fee, however, at this stage, no agreement has been reached between the two clubs.
Tottenham are reported to have already secured another deal with the Serie A outfit with goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini having undergone an initial medical ahead of completing a loan switch, which includes an obligation if he plays a certain number of games (Sky Sports).
