The Times have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur could resume talks with Julian Nagelsmann after their pursuit of Arne Slot collapsed.
After Arne Slot confirmed on Thursday that he will be remaining at Feyenoord (Dan Kilpatrick), it was suggested by multiple sources yesterday that the Lilywhites could turn their attention to Ange Postecoglou.
One such update came from The Independent, who revealed yesterday that the Australian’s attractive brand of football makes him an interesting candidate for the Spurs hierarchy.
The report claimed that a deal for the 57-year-old would prove straight-forward for the North Londoners owing to the good relationship they have with Celtic.
The Times have now also suggested that Postecoglou might be the man that Tottenham turn to, stating that the 57-year-old is ‘highly regarded’ by the club, owing to the success he has achieved in Scotland on a limited budget.
The publication then adds that the Lilywhites could also decide to resume talks with Nagelsmann, who is still waiting for the right job to come along after departing Bayern Munich in March.
The report states Spurs ‘pulled out’ of talks with the 35-year-old two weeks ago as the German expressed some reservations about the job but the Premier League club could now try again to agree on a deal.

Nagelsmann’s main reservation about the Tottenham job might have been the lack of clarity regarding the structure at the club.
So, perhaps Spurs will approach the German once again once they have a director of football in place, allowing the incoming director to oversee talks with the 35-year-old.
