Tottenham Hotspur have made an enquiry for Manchester City winger Martin Petrov, according to Sky Sports News.
The Bulgarian international joined City for £4.7million in July 2007, but has been blighted by a serious knee injury.
Luka Modric’s broken leg has meant that Harry Redknapp is short of players who can operate on Tottenham’s left flank.
