It has not taken a lot of time for Harry Kane to show his quality in Germany, with the striker clinching the record for scoring the most goals in his first five Bundesliga games.

There was never going to be any doubt that Kane would score bucketloads for Bayern Munich and the striker has certainly hit the ground running since his summer move to the Allianz Arena.

The 30-year-old had already netted four in his first four league games heading into this weekend and he put Bochum to the sword on Saturday, netting a hat-trick and also registering two other assists.

That means that the former Tottenham man now has 10 goal contributions to his name (seven goals and three assists) in his first five league games of the season.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the England captain has now beaten the previous record tally after five matches (6) held jointly by Gerd Müller, Miroslav Klose and Mario Mandzukic.

There was never really any doubt that Kane was going to score well over 30 goals for Bayern, given the chances that they create. That is why the German giants paid over £100m for the 30-year-old even though he only had a year left on his contract.
