Tottenham’s last friendly before the Premier League season is against Girona at 7 pm BST tonight.

After two weeks in the USA for the International Champions Cup, many of the same players who featured there have travelled to Spain.

Spurs’ main men Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris and Dele Alli have still not returned from their summer break after a prolonged World Cup journey.

Again, Spurs host a list of injuries with Moussa Sissoko, Josh Onomah and Victor Wanyama remaining in London.

Here is our predicted starting XI:

Vorm (C); Aurier, Carter-Vickers, Sanchez, Walker-Peters; Eriksen, Amos; Lucas, Son, N’Koudou; Llorente.

Timothy Eyoma started in the game against AC Milan but it was not the most convincing performance from the youngster and with the Premier League season just one week away Mauricio Pochettino may want to play is closest starting XI.

It will be interesting to see who will start at left-back, Kyle Walker-Peters won the Man of the Match award against Milan but Pochettino may want to start Ben Davies depending on his plans for the trip to Newcastle.

Luke Amos is expected to keep his place in the starting XI after proving to be Spurs’ stand out player throughout their USA tour.

Pochettino is likely to start Heung-min Son, the South Korean is available for the Newcastle trip but then will return to national duty to play in the Asian games.

Spurs fans, with the new season just around the corner how would your ideal starting XI lineup?
