According to The Telegraph, former Spurs academy starlet Noni Madueke has emerged as a transfer target for Leicester City.

Madueke swapped North London for Eindhoven in 2018, signing with PSV after he became a free agent.

Spurs reportedly offered the youngster a new deal, but the London-born winger wanted to attempt to progress his career in the Eredivisie where he would get more regular game time (The Sun).

The 20-year-old has now made 70 appearances for PSV, combining 18 goals with 14 assists in that time (Transfermarkt).

Madueke’s impressive performances in Holland have reportedly alerted Brendan Rodgers who is said to be interested in bringing the player to the King Power Stadium this summer (Telegraph).

A number of Premier League clubs are reportedly keeping tabs on the English talent, with 90min previously crediting both Leeds United and Newcastle United with an interest in the forward.

Spurs are also tracking any potential movements, with the Lilywhites keen to bring Madueke back to N17 (90min).

Spurs Web Opinion

In hindsight, allowing Noni to leave was a big mistake. He has been ripping it up with PSV and it isn’t long before he earns himself a bumper move. Unfortunately, there was likely nothing Spurs could have done to stop him as he wanted game time.

I can’t see Spurs going for him this summer after the arrival of Richarlison, but if they are truly keen on reuniting with the player, they may have to act decisively.
