Mykhailo Mudryk has revealed through his latest social media post that he received a copy of ‘Brave New World’ as a gift from the manager – the book about Mauricio Pochettino’s revolution at Tottenham Hotspur.
The book written by Spanish journalist Guillem Balague in 2017 offers an inside account of Pochettino’s transformation of Tottenham.
The 51-year-old took over at the North London club on the back of a tumultuous couple of years and he did not have the easiest of first seasons at White Hart Lane, falling out with several senior players and integrating some youngsters into the squad.
Those decisions paid off as Tottenham went on to challenge for the Premier League title during Pochettino’s second and third seasons at the club.
A couple of years after the book was published, Pochettino almost took Spurs to European glory, with the club being beaten in the Champions League final by Liverpool in 2019.

The former Spurs manager will be hoping that his fortunes at Chelsea also turn around in similar fashion after a difficult start to life at Stamford Bridge.
Mudryk has now thanked Pochettino on Instagram stories for gifting him a copy of ‘Brave New World’

I am not so sure that Mudryk’s decision to share this on social media will go down particularly well with Chelsea’s supporters, given their hatred of all things Tottenham.
