Sky Sports reporter Lyall Thomas has claimed that the interest in Japhet Tanganga is now growing but he insisted that as things stand, the centre-back is not close to an exit from his boyhood club.
It has been widely reported over the last couple of weeks that Ange Posteocglou wishes to make wholesale changes at centre-back with Tanganga expected to be one of the players offloaded (The Times).
Earlier this week, we relayed a report from Gianluca Di Marzio, who claimed that Inter are now eyeing a move for the Tottenham man.
The journalist stated that the 24-year-old’s ability to operate at centre-back and a right-back appeals to the Nerazzurri, who could explore an initial loan deal for the player with an option to buy.
Galatasaray enter race for Japhet Tanganga
Thomas has now taken to social media to back up Inter’s interest in Tanganga, and he revealed that Galatasaray are also on the Spurs star’s trail.
The journalist stated that Tottenham are ready to listen to loan offers with an option to buy for their academy graduate but he added that there is ‘nothing close’ at the moment.

Spurs Web Opinion
It is quite clear by now that Tanganga, Rodon and Sanchez are all likely to head through the exit door over the coming weeks with potentially one other centre-back (plus Clement Lenglet) set to arrive at the club.
