Tottenham Hotspur have potentially been handed a boost in their pursuit of Yves Bissouma, with The Times’ Duncan Castles reporting that Brighton are prepared to sell the midfielder this summer.
Bissouma has come on leaps and bounds since arriving on the South Coast back in 2018 for a deal worth around €18m ( £15.6m) from Lille.
The 24-year-old has had another stellar campaign, demonstrating his fantastic engine and the abundance of technical quality he possesses.
The Daily Star reported last week that the Mali international is on Tottenham’s radar ahead of the summer transfer window.
Castles has now revealed that Bissouma has informed Brighton of his desire to leave the club at the end of the season.
While Spurs are not mentioned in the report, the midfielder is said to be of interest to Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City.
The journalist also revealed that the Seagulls would be willing to let Bissouma leave for £30m this summer since he only has two years left on his contract with the club.

I would certainly prefer us to sign Bissouma over the other centre midfielders we have been linked with like Sander Berge and Ismaila Soro.
While Hojbjerg started the season extremely well, we have seen his performances suffer over the last few months owing to lack of competition for his place.
While Skipp could well provide that competition, we could be in the market for one more midfielder if we sell both Sissoko and Winks.
