Kevin Campbell has said that none of Tottenham’s players, including Yves Bissouma, would get into Arsenal’s starting eleven.
The build-up to the North London derby is now well underway, with both sides going into the game high on confidence.
Son Heung-min stated a couple of days ago that Mikel Arteta’s men will not be looking forward to facing Spurs at the moment, given the momentum that the Lilywhites have (The Times).
As is the norm before such a big game, fans and pundits have already started discussing combined elevens, with Tim Sherwood even insisting that not a single Tottenham player would get into the Arsenal eleven (Tippy Tappy Football Podcast).
Would Yves Bissouma get into the Arsenal XI?
That is something that Campbell agrees with, with the former Arsenal man praising Bissouma for the start he has had to the season but insisting that he would not take the 27-year-old in the Gunners midfield.
The 53-year-old told the Highbury Squad YouTube channel: “We were linked with Bissouma at one stage, and he is starting to look a bit like his old self now. He’s starting to be a bit freer in the midfield, but if you look in the position they play, no, I would take the Arsenal 11 all day long.”
Tottenham last won at the Emirates in 2010 and that is a record that Ange Postecoglou’s men would want to put right.
Spurs Web Opinion
This game is essentially a free-hit for Tottenham as Arsenal are undoubtedly big favourites. The pressure is on them since they are chasing the title.
I suspect most Spurs fans will take a draw if you offered it to them right now. However, I doubt Postecoglou would, given the way he thinks. He will set the team up to take the game to the home side.
