LondonWorld have reported that Juventus are now preparing a £30m bid to try and sign Tottenham Hotspur midfield, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Both Juventus and Atletico Madrid are said to be interested in the former Southampton man, with the former needing to replace Paul Pogba in their midfield following his ban.
Hojbjerg has been a bit-part player under Ange Postecoglou so far this season, with the new Spurs boss preferring a midfield three of Yves Bissouma, James Maddison, and Pape Matar Sarr.
The Dane may get his chance from the start against Fulham next week with Bissouma banned, but Rodrigo Bentancur is now nearing a return and Hojbjerg could be forced further down the pecking order.
How much is Hojbjerg worth in the current market?
There have been plenty of reports linking Juventus with a potential move for Hojbjerg in January, most recently from Gazzetta dello Sport.
However, London World have now gone as far as to report that the Italian giants are preparing a £30m bid to land their man.
Spurs Web opinion:
I think a £30m deal would be perfect for everyone involved. Hojbjerg gets his move, Juventus get a player who will probably thrive in the Serie A, and Spurs get more than what they paid for the midfielder in the first place.
