Heung-min Son put his body on the line to net a goal for South Korea in their 6-0 friendly win over Vietnam this afternoon.
The Spurs captain, who also wears the armband for his country, started and played all 90 minutes of the match, scoring one and assisting another for Korea.
This comes after Son was benched for the friendly against Tunisia early in the international break, with Jurgen Klinsmann admitting there were question marks over his fitness (Yonhap News Agency).
Fortunately, Son was fit enough to play for South Korea, six days before Tottenham are back in Premier League action against Fulham next Monday.

But the winger certainly took a clattering from two Vietnam players after he slotted home following a nice one-two around the corner with his teammate.

Spurs Web Opinion:
Fortunately, Son hopped up and was fine after the goal. Our captain getting injured in a friendly would certainly have been far from ideal.
