The Evening Standard have provided a fresh injury update on the Tottenham squad ahead of the Premier League clash against Fulham on Monday.
Many of Tottenham’s first-team players are returning from international duty in the coming hours, and Ange Postecoglou will be hoping to avoid any unwanted knocks.
One man who stayed behind at Hotspur Way over the past week is new signing, Brennan Johnson, who went without a Wales call-up due to an injury he picked up for Spurs.
Brennan Johnson could return for Spurs vs Fulham
Tottenham are now said to be hopeful that Johnson will feature against Fulham, although it is not revealed whether this could be from the start or the bench.
Either way, it appears that week in the treatment room has done the former Nottingham Forest forward some good, especially since Spurs are already without Ivan Perisic and Manor Solomon.
Spurs Web Opinion:
Postecoglou clearly wanted Johnson in the summer, so I am really interested to see what his role will be once he gets back to full fitness.
Having some youth in the front line to press for 90 minutes will certainly do the Spurs squad some good, and competition for places is never a bad thing.
