Football Insider have claimed that Tottenham target Conor Gallagher is currently happy at Chelsea.
It was the same publication which revealed a couple of days ago that Spurs are long-time admirers of Gallagher and were plotting another move for the midfielder after failing to sign him up on transfer deadline day.
The report suggested that the 23-year-old’s future at Stamford Bridge is not secure, given how well-stocked the club are in the midfielder department after their summer spending spree.
It was explained that the Blues would be open to cashing in on their academy graduate for the right fee in January due to their financial situation.
Gallagher wants to stay at Chelsea despite Spurs links
However, Football Insider have stated in their latest update that Gallagher is happy at his boyhood club, having started every single game under Mauricio Pochettino this season.
The publication asserts that even though the England international is attracting interest from Spurs and West Ham, he would be happy to continue his career in West London.

Three and a half months is a long time in football and a lot can change between now and January. It is quite possible that Gallagher could fall down Pochettino’s pecking order before the window reopens, in which case, Tottenham will likely try again to secure the 23-year-old.
